Ó Dálaigh

The Ó Dálaigh were a learned baric family who first came to prominence early in the 12th century. Originally from what is now Westmeath, different members of the clan founded bardic schools in widely different parts of Ireland. Well known members of the family in the medieval era included;
- Aonghus Fionn Ó Dálaigh, fl. 1500
- Aonghus Ruadh Ó Dálaigh, d. 1617
- Cearbhall Ó Dálaigh, fl. 1620
- Cú Connacht Ó Dálaigh, fl. 1100
- Donnchadh Mór Ó Dálaigh, fl. 1220
- Gofraidh Fionn Ó Dálaigh, d. 1387
- Muireadhach Albanach Ó Dálaigh, fl. 1213-1220
- Tadhg Camchosach Ó Dálaigh, fl. 1375
