Čop Street

Čop Street (Slovenian: Čopova ulica) is the main street in the center of Ljubljana. It is named after Matija Čop, a close friend of France Prešeren whose square with statue lies on its end. The street is lined with many different stores, most of them selling clothes and shoes, cosmetics and foodstuffs. It is closed for all motor traffic.
