Song Information
Originally planned as the second single from the album, it was slated for release after "Outrageous." However, Britney sustained a knee injury during the filming for the video, causing her to cancel shooting for this single. "(I Got That) Boom Boom" was later released as a double-side single with "Breathe on Me" in select countries.Music video
Many fans expected a video for this track, after it was performed on MTV's TRL. However, when the date of its release was changed, she was unable to shoot a video. So the performance on TRL was used as a video instead.Chart performance
Fans were suggesting the release of more singles from In the Zone after "Outrageous" was only released in the U.S. and Japan. While this single was released without a video in August 2004, it performed not quite as well but in the average peaks.
