...Baby One More Time is the debut album from American pop singer Britney Spears. It was released on January 12, 1999, in the U.S. and was principally produced by Max Martin and Rami (and was largely composed by the former). The title track, which is her most successful single to date, is generally considered Spears' signature song. Although she herself had very minimal artistic input with this record, it is her best-selling album both in the U.S. and internationally and propelled the then-seventeen-year-old to superstardom during the year of its release. The album also spent a huge fifty weeks in the top ten of the Billboard 200.
Although the critical response to the album was lukewarm, ...Baby One More Time was a huge commercial success. It debuted at number one in both the U.S. and Canada, and reached the top ten in many other countries. The record has been certified 14x Platinum in the U.S. (making it one of the top fifty best-selling albums of all-time domestically) and has sold an estimated twenty-five million copies worldwide. It is also the best-selling debut album by a female artist (a record previously holded by Whitney Houston).

Trivia
- The songs, ...Baby One More Time, Sometimes, and From the Bottom of My Broken Heart became #1 from this album.
- Unlike other albums by Britney Spears, the front cover is a fold-out page with a poster of Britney (much like Ashlee Simpson's I Am Me).
- This album and Oops!...I Did It Again, her follow-up album, has the lyrics only of her singles (from this album, ...Baby One More Time, Sometimes, Born To Make You Happy and From the Bottom of My Broken Heart. (You Drive Me) Crazy's lyrics do not appear, because the single was a remix.
- Some editions (like the Australian edition) have an alternate cover picture, a picture of Spears in white. This picture also appears inside.
