1,2,4-Trimethylbenzene is a colorless liquid with chemical formula C9H12. It is flammable and has a strong odor. It is also known as asymmetrical trimethylbenzene, 1,2,5-trimethylbenzene, psi-cumene, pseudocumene, pseudocumol and as-trimethylbenzene.
Uses
1,2,4-Trimethylzene dissolved in mineral oil is used as a liquid scintillator.
