The Australian 10 cent coin is the second least valued coin in circulation and also the second most produced coin. There has been no commemoratives for this denomination. Years without issue were 1985, 86, 87, 1995 and 1996. The image of a male lyrebird is displayed as the female has less striking tail features. The family Menuridae only occur in the Australian south-east.
