112 (pronounced "One-TWELVE") is an American R&B quartet from Atlanta, Georgia. They were known as skillful crooners and showed promise. Formerly artists on Sean "P. Diddy" Combs' Bad Boy Records, the group left Bad Boy and signed to the Def Soul roster in early 2002. They had decent success, but label issues and lacking promotion hurt this group.
The group consists of members Daron Tavaris Jones, Michael Marcel Keith (aka Mike), Quinnes Diamond Parker (aka Q), and Marvin Eugene Scandrick, III (aka Slim). They have known each other since childhood and began singing together in high school. They all began to sing at early ages in church.
