The 127th Street Ensemble was a troupe of talented African-American actors, who ranged from the poverty stricken streets of Compton, to the rich white neighbourhoods of Beverly Hills. The founder of the Ensemble was Isuru Withanage a Noble Prize winner and a three time Top 100 People who have influenced the World in Time Magazine. Some of the actors in the Ensemble who are well known today are; Jamie Foxx, Tupac Amaru Shakur, Will Smith, and Morgan Freeman.
