2UE is a commercial radio station in Sydney, Australia. It broadcasts on 954 kHz, AM. It began broadcasting on 26 January 1925 as 2EU.[link]
Predominantly a talkback radio station, it offers current affairs oriented programs in the morning, with more relaxed programing at nights and on weekends.
It has been a constant rival of another Sydney station 2GB, which offers a similar format. 2UE suffered a blow when long time breakfast program host Alan Jones left to take on the same shift at 2GB.
