4-HO-DIPT
Encyclopedia : 4 : 4H : 4HO : 4-HO-DIPT
4-HO-DiPT (also known as 4-hydroxy-di-isopropyl-tryptamine, or Iprocin) is a hallucinogenic drug.
It is classified as a tryptamine derivative, and as an indole compound.
An experience on 4-HO-DiPT can be compared to psilocybin/psilocin, LSD or DMT, which are also tryptamines/indoles. However, the duration of the above mentioned drugs vary considerably. Iprocin is orally active, and 20-25mg represents a fully effective dosage with most users.
Analogues
Many believe that 4-HO-DIPT and 4-Acetoxy-DIPT become the same chemical in the brain. It is theorized that once a 4-acetoxy compound enters the body it gets chopped off by esterase enzymes, leaving behind the active 4-hydroxy group, which produces the psychedelic effect it is known for. Both drugs appear to produce the same psychoactive effects.
