"4 hot wave" is Kumi Koda's 32nd single under the Rhythm Zone label. This is a quadruple a-side, meaning it has four a-sides to it. This is the first time Koda Kumi has ever released a quadruple a-side single. It's scheduled to be released on July 26; roughly 2 months after the release of her last hit single, "Koi no Tsubomi". The covers of this single were taken while Kumi was in Moracco to shoot her new photobook, "Maroc", which is also due out in July.

Neowing.jp has described the four songs that are to be released on the single. "Ningyo-hime" is to be a song with a "impressive crashing rock sound", "I'll be there" is a "mid-tempo tune that'll make you feel summer", "JUICY" is a "hard R&B track that matches those from the US", and "With your smile" is a "aggressive dance tune".Commercial Endorsements
