54th United States Congress

The Fifty-fourth United States Congress was a meeting of the United States national legislature, comprised of the United States Senate and the United States House of Representatives. It met in Washington, DC from March 4, 1895, to March 3, 1897. This Congress sat during the last two years of the second administration of U.S. President Grover Cleveland, and the apportionment of seats in the House of Representatives was based on the Eleventh Census of the United States in 1890.
