The 55th National Hockey League All-Star Game is to be held in Dallas, Texas. On January 23, 2006 Gary Bettman, National Hockey League Commissioner announced that the event to be held during the 2006-07 NHL season will take place at American Airlines Center, home of the Dallas Stars. The event is scheduled to be played on January 24, 2007.
This will be the first NHL All-Star game since the 2004-05 NHL lockout. The 2005-06 season did not stage an All-Star game due to the 2006 Winter Olympics.
