600 A.D. is a time period in Squaresoft's Chrono Trigger.
It is also known as the Middle Ages and is populated by many humans and Mystics across several continents. The Kingdom of Guardia rules the northwestern continent and is waging a war against Magus and his Mystic army. Magus's lair is found in the center of the map and Magus occupied the Zenan continent to the south during the war. After the war, Ozzie will build his own fortress far to the east.
Frog lives by himself in a forest on the southern continent.
