The 653d Electronic Systems Wing's lineage was inactivated on Oct. 1, 1994, after being re-designated as the 653d Communications-Computer Systems Group on Oct. 1, 1992. The group was last stationed at Warner-Robins Air Logistics Center, Ga. The redesignated Wing activated Apr 2006 at Hanscom AFB, Mass. to replace the Network Centric Operations and Integration Systems Wing.
