7 Rideau Gate is the official guest house of the Canadian government, located in Ottawa, Ontario. Distinguished visitors such as Heads of State and high-level government officials from around the world have been known to make use of the accommodations.
History
The house was built in 1862 by Henry Osgoode Burritt, an Ottawa mill-owner and was obtained by the federal government in 1966.Other Canadian official residences
