88SLIDE is a daily one minute trivia challenge format, distributed via the Internet in podcast and vodcast form, as well as in the popular mov and wmv file formats. Cell phone users can also download the series on their 3GP enabled phone. The first episode was released on February_6, 2006, although 5 pilot episodes were shot before its debut.

New episodes are released Monday through Friday, where viewers are challenged with one multiple choice question, and asked to Email or text-message their answer by 9 PM Pacific Daylight Time. One randomly selected correct entry is eligible for the day's prize. The week's outtakes and bloopers are released on Saturday and Sunday.

The series is hosted by Rachel Rhodes, a Los Gatos, California native who now resides in Los Angeles, California. In each weekday episode, the announcer, Blaine Rucker, reveals the randomly selected correct entry from the previous episode.

-->88SLIDE is written, produced and edited by Noah Bonnett, who launched 88SLIDE after working at the international television production company Endemol, in addition to the syndicated television game show Pyramid. Other credits include  NBC's Tommy Lee Goes to College and the original ABC version of Deal or No Deal in 2004.

The series is usually taped around Southern California, but many segments have been produced on other continents through collaboration with other video podcasters and viewers. Previous guests include late-night television personality Matthew Lesko, in addition to other oddball characters who occasionally ask the day's question.
