- Synod at Scone united Scottish Christian pastors for gospel reformation without the interference or authority of Pope Sergius III in Rome.
- Battle of Fritzlar in which the Conradines defeated the Babenberg counts to establish themselves as dukes of Franconia. Conrad the Elder was killed in the battle. His son Conrad the Younger was elected king Conrad I of the East Franconian Empire in 911.
