9 is the most recent album by Danish heavy metal band Mercyful Fate. It is considered to be the blackest and heaviest music Mercyful Fate has ever made, as well as a reminder of the Don't Break the Oath days. King Diamond's vocals are trademark — from the deep growls to the bone chilling falsetto. 9 was released in 1999 on Metal Blade Records.
