A.T.O.M. (the animated series) stands for Alpha Teens On Machines. A.T.O.M. chronicles the adventures of Axel and his teammates, teenagers who work for Mr. Lee testing out his vehicle and weapon prototypes created at Lee Industries. Fifty-two episodes have been produced so far of the series.
Characters
- Axel Manning: Axel, leader of A.T.O.M., and master of the Jo-Lan martial art.
- Zach Hawkes: Hawk, a gifted test pilot who is more at home in the air than on the ground (in more ways than one).
- Ollie Sharker: Shark, a laid back surfer who's an expert on any type and kind of board.
- Crey Kingston: King, a tidy, gentle giant with superhuman strength.
- Catalina Leone: Lioness, a talented songwriter who uses her acrobatic skills to master many martial arts - and also, she fancies Axel.
- Mr. Lee: Inventor and founder of Lee Industries, Mr. Lee created the A.T.O.M. team to test his prototype vehicles and weapons.
- Alexander Paine: A former spy working with Axel Manning's father Sebastian turned into an evil crime boss. Escaped from the local triple-maximum security prison and has plans on taking control of Landmark City.
- Magnus Paine: Daughter of Alexander Paine; has magnetic powers.
- Dragon: A ninja assassin who worked for Paine, and apparently knew Axel's father or he really is his father.
- Spydah: Minion of Paine. He broke out of jail with Paine. He can create insect-themed machines which he treats as his pets. He wears a helmet equipped with six mini-cameras with night vision and infra-red capabilities. His eight detachable mechanical arms provide him with strength, dexterity, and climbing ability.
- Albert "Flesh": Super-strong minion of Paine. His barbells are his favorite weapons.

Season 1
- A Paine By Any Other Name Part 1- Lioness, Axel, King, Shark, and Hawk are all on a reality show called Track Down. Each member is being hunted by cyborgs to test out their skills. They win the game and Mr. Lee takes them to Lee Industries and shows them their vehicles. They see inmates escaping Talon Pen and Axel is only interested in the criminal mastermind Alexander Paine. Axel gos on a high speed chase to catch him, but Paine will not go down easy. Hawk decides to leave claiming he joined to test rides not take down a wacko.
- A Paine By Any Other Name Part 2-Two college students working late at night are robbed by Spydah who steals a sonic amplifier. The team sees Paine on tv saying that he wants to rule Landmark City. The team leaves for an amusement park flooded by an earthquake caused by Paine. Instead of meeting Paine, the meet Spydah but Hawk returns to help and rejoins the team.
- Touch of Paine- Mr. Lee feels disappointed that the team wants a place of their own. Paine has the power to cause pain by his touch. When fighting with Paine, Lioness gets hurt by his touch and falls off the building. Axel dives down and catches her in time, but she doesn't look so good. Lioness says she is afraid of Paine, but Hawk tells her what her real problem is. In the end Lioness comes through.
- Of The Flesh-Paine needs a high radioactive chemical element for a pain reducer. So Paine enlists the help of Albert, a strong, loyal, and dumb criminal. They go to a tight security compound system that holds the chemical. The Alpha Teens go in their new vehicle the Slammer to stop Paine.
- Trapped- The team meet up with Mr. Lee and a building inspector. While they are talking the whole building is locked down with them inside by an architect Mr. Lee fired. The team not only have to find the architect to gain control but must survive traps and high tech security laid out to stop them.
- The Experiment-Hawk is acting out a scene for a movie when King comes charging in and attacks a Mechanical Crab monster. King then gets the part for the movie, but when acting the scene real monsters come on the set and attack for real. Axel, Hawk, and Lioness decide to make their on movie and while filming discover Green Lava on the island.
- In Too Deep-Shark bails a party that Mr. Lee is hosting on his private boat before the party starts and goes diving. While diving he is attacked by a hammerhead shark, escapes, and gets captured by an octopus. When he wakes up he is introduced to Dr. E.L, a human/eel hybrid employed by Paine to attack Mr. Lee's party.
- Enter the Dragon-Everyone is getting ready to spend time with their families for the Christmas holidays except Axel. Axel is out riding around but is being followed by a mercenary hired by Paine. While fighting the ninja he discovers he also knows the way of Jo-Lan.
- The Final Frontier-Hawk is flying in an air show when it is crashed by an old friend from his academy days. Meanwhile, Paine hires some new blood to steal a plane from Lee Industries in order to cover Landmark City with a deadly poison.
- Natural Magnetism-While the team is on vacation at Iron Mountain they meet a woman called Dr. Magnus. Magnus is left with the rest of the team to have fun while Lioness is in the hospital with a broken leg, but Lioness suspects something about her and tries to find out more.
- Double Image-A money truck is held up by Axel, so a special agent is sent out to question the team about his whereabouts. The rest of the team sets out to clear his name believing he did not and would not do it. While tracking down Axel they meet up with his new henchmen called Optical who can copy the image of other people for short periods of time.
- I Paine-Paine steals the cyborgs that were used in the game show and begins to build an indestructible army, and steals Axel's Tag Blaster, turning it into a deadly weapon.
- Stormy Weather-Coming Soon
- Royal Rumble-King has his sights set on a diamond encrusted wrestling championship belt, but Paine does too. Paine hires Vinny to take Flesh's place after he breaks his leg. Vinny falls in love with Lioness and takes her.

- Dem Bonez-The team is stuck patrolling a ship on Halloween after a vehicle is stolen. This turns out to be one of many thefts and after everyone is a print of a green skull left. Hawk is kidnapped by a mysterious figure and when looking for him they find the Landmark City that time forgot and find themselves surrounded by zombies and being chased by a crazy scientist who wants to attack Landmark City. It is up to Axel and King to save the city and the rest of the team when Lioness, Shark, and Hawk are turned into zombies.
- Omega Team-Paine is tired of being beaten by the Alpha Teens, so he creates his own teen group named Team Omega, to take them out. It looks as if the team would succeed, but once again Paine is beaten.
- The Big Sleep-Paine is up to no good and Axel is on it. Axel tries to get the rest of the team but only Hawk answers and wakes up the rest of them. Axel has been poisoned by Paine and goes in a kind of Jo-Lan trance to slow the poison. Axel puts Shark in charge. To save him, the team goes to a swamp to find the spider for an antidote.
- Breakout-After a run in with a crooked cop, King and Hawk are arrested, put on trial, and sentenced to time in the block with what Axel calls the Alpha Teens greatest hits CD. Axel, Shark, and Lioness to break them out. Hawk inflates his ego even more by accepting an award.
- The Sword of Jo Lan-While visiting a local museum, the team finds an ancient Jo-Lan sword. The museum is attacked by ninjas which on Axel remembers to be Dragon. They take the sword and leave. The team goes after them, later accompanied by Dragon, and together take down the man, who holding the sword, has extreme power.
- Daddy's Little Girl-The team is asked to look after Mr.Lee's mansion while he is away. Magnus and her boyfriend Diesel with his bike crew trash the place during a fight. The team must clean the house before Mr. Lee gets home and they shove everything in a closet. Hawk burns up the Alpha Teens kitchen while cooking and is not allowed to cook.
- Underworld-Paine gets Vinny/Mass, to help with his latest project. The team's extreme sporting outing is interrupted by strange tremors. Vinny's mother and Lioness argue about how Lioness broke his heart.
- Black Out-A meteor crashes into Landmark City and causes a blackout. Paine plans to steal it to create another. Meanwhile the team is testing out the shielding of their jet in the vicinity of the meteor and get tangled up in Paine's affairs. In order to impress a girl Hawk tells her he is the leader of the team.
- Remote Control-Coming Soon
- Showdown-As the anniversary of his fathers death approaches, Axel becomes more determined then ever to take down Paine. It comes to play that Lioness and Axel like each other.
