History
A.T. Kearney traces its roots back to the founding of McKinsey & Company in 1926. Andrew T. Kearney was one of McKinsey's first partners and established his own firm in 1937. In 1995 global information technology services company EDS acquired A.T. Kearney. A management buy-out in 2006 returned the company to independent, partnership status.
A.T. Kearney has historically been headquartered in Chicago. The first international office was opened in Düsseldorf in 1964. A.T. Kearney now has a presence on all continents (except Antarctica).
A.T. Kearney currently has offices in 55 business centers in 35 countries.
