The A316, also known as the Great Chertsey Road, is a major road in England, which connects the M3 motorway to Central London via the A4. Going out of London, it runs south-west from Chiswick, crossing the Thames at Chiswick Bridge, then passing on the north side of Richmond, then crossing the Thames again at Twickenham Bridge, then passing Twickenham Rugby Stadium, and ends at Junction 1 of the M3 in Sunbury-on-Thames, close to the Kempton Park Racecourse.
