The A7, also called the Autopista del Mediterráneo (Mediterranean Motorway) is a motorway along the mediterranean coast of Spain. It stretches from the border with France at La Jonquera (Girona) to Algeciras (Cádiz). It passes through or very near to Barcelona, Valencia, Murcia, Alicante, Málaga, Marbella and other important cities. It connects with the A2, A3 and A92 motorways among others.
Along with the A1-A4 corridor, it's one of the most important routes for north-african immigrants in Europe returning to their home countries during the summer.
