AB Pictoris is an orange dwarf star about 149 light-years away in the constellation Pictor.
As of 2005 an extrasolar planet or brown dwarf is known to orbit the star.

Very little is known about this object. Its most likely mass exceeds 13 Jupiter masses, so the object may be a low-mass brown dwarf. Its stellar classification is between L0 and L4.
