A.G. Weser was a shipyard on the Weser River in Bremen, Germany. Founded November 8, 1843, A.G. Weser played significant parts in both World Wars and remained in operation until December 31, 1983, when it succumbed to the delayed effects of the oil crisis.

During World War I, A.G. Weser launched 96 U-boats.

During World War II, A.G. Weser produced U-boats for the German Kriegsmarine. Between February 14, 1936 and March 1, 1945, A.G. Weser launched a total of 162 U-boats.

The city of Bremen had been the target of 32 major bombing attacks during World War II. On October 6-7, 1944, a raid by 246 Lancasters and 7 Mosquitos severely damaged A.G. Weser, taking it out of action for the remainder of the war.
