AXN

AXN started operations on 21 September 1997, a 24-hour cable and satellite TV channel owned 100% by Sony Pictures Entertainment. AXN delivers 24 hours a day of action TV series, movies, animations and adventure-reality and lifestyle sports programmes.

There are several local versions of this channel:

Asia: Available in Bangladesh, Brunei, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Macao, Malaysia, Mongolia, Nepal, Palau, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam
Brazil
Central Europe: Available in Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, Poland, Romania and Bulgaria
Germany
Israel
Italy: Also, oddly, carried to the UK & Ireland by Eurobird 1.
Japan
Latin America: Available in Mexico, Venezuela, Argentina, Chile, Caribbean, Ecuador, Panama, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Peru, Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay, Colombia and Dominican Republic
