Abaco Island Boa

The Abaco Island Boa is a slender, terrestrial, viviparous boa with an iridescent reddish sheen of the scales. It grows up to 80 cm long. It feeds on small mammals, birds and lizards. As a member of the rainbow boas (genus Epicrates), it belongs to the family of the true boas (Boidae).
Other common name : Northern Bahamas Boa.

On the Great Abaco Island, Bahamas.
