Encyclopedia : A : AB : ABA : Abacus PDA Watch
-->The Abacus PDA Watch is a watch made for the avergage business person; giving them the option of having their own personal PDA on their wrist. FOSSIL, is company that created the watch, and ever since its release, it has done well. The price began around $200, and now it can be found as low as $80. The significant price drop is caused by the release of an upgraded PALM OS, from 4.1 to 5.
However, the watch isn't just your average, Address book, Calendar, Notepad-PDA device. The watch can be turned into, by uploading, a gaming station, a dictionary, a subway map, resturaunt finder, a tv remote, and much much more. The watch has tons of potential, which is even higher than normal because of an IR installment on the front of the watch which allows users of the watch to send files to other PDA utilities. Yet, the single draw back is that the IR is a one foot distance signal.
