Abbott and Costello Meet Captain Kidd is a 1952 comedy co-starring Charles Laughton, who reprised his role as the infamous pirate from the 1945 film "Captain Kidd".
The film was one of only two Abbott and Costello movies shot in color (using the SuperCinecolor process). The team's first color production was Jack and the Beanstalk, which was released earlier the same year.) Both flims were independent productions distributed through Warner Brothers.
