Aberconwy was a local government district of Gwynedd in Wales from 1974 to 1996.

It was formed on April 1, 1974 as a merger of the Caernarfonshire borough of Conwy along with Betws-y-Coed Llandudno, Llanfairfechan and Penmaenmawr urban districts, and the Nant Conway Rural District; and the Denbighshire urban district of Llanrwst, and several parishes.

It was abolished on April 1, 1996 along with Gwynedd, and merged into the Conwy county borough.
