Opening
Action League Now!Starring: The Flesh: He's super strong and super naked.
ThunderGirl: She flies, like thunder.
Stinky Diver: A former Navy commando with an attitude as bad as his odor.
And Meltman: With the power to...Melt!
Main characters
- The Flesh - A blond, muscular, dim-witted bodybuilder who goes without wearing clothes. Says "Ouchies" a lot. He resembles a He-Man action figure, however he is actually a modified [Conan the Adventurer figure].
- ThunderGirl - The only female member of the team, as well as the only one that is able to fly and sings a song to the tune of John Williams' Star Wars theme. She resembles a Barbie doll, and may be a tribute to Storm (comics).
- Stinky Diver - A mustachioed diver who is often seen diving into toilets. He was once a member of the Navy. He speaks with an Australian-type accent and of course has a foul odor. Has a beach house, actually a port-a-potty located on a beach. In fact this personage is a figure of action of Gi Joe, in where the personage is called Shipwreck, this version corresponds to 1994 being the second version of this figure.
- Meltman - A doll who is almost completely melted. He supposedly has the ability to melt, but has never used this power. He has a crush on ThunderGirl and thinks finding his missing nose will help him get her attention.
- Bill the Lab Guy - Scientist who often messes up his experiments. Often says "I was afraid of this!" and "There is nothing I can do." Has a teenage daughter named Quarky, who became a superheroine herself, named SuperTeen. His name is possibly a takeoff on "Bill Nye the Science Guy" and "Larry the Cable Guy"
- The Chief - The boss of the Action League. Frequently yells at the Action League for messing up. Has a dog named Justice.
- Justice - The Chief's golden retriever. She is usually considered the smartest member of the Action League. Often carries in her mouth and/or buries various members of the Action League.
- The Mayor - The show's antagonist most of the time, who has a grudge against the League. He's often made fun of in episodes (For example, in one he was constantly being injured by the League -- unintentionally, of course).
- Hodge Podge - The Action League's former accountant who was accidentally thrown into and chopped up in a blender and horribly rebuilt by Bill the Lab Guy against Hodge Podge's will, making him mutated-looking with parts of his new body used from other toys, such as a claw for a hand taken from a crab toy. He then became a villain wanting revenge on the Action League.
- Big Baby - A gigantic baby doll trying to destroy the Action League, KISS (The band), and the general public.
- Smarty Pants - A genius villain that tries to get the world's knowledge by attacking The Flesh, because the Action League hid it inside his head, since it's the last place anyone would think it is.
