Adagio (band)
Encyclopedia : A : AD : ADA : Adagio (band)
Adagio is a French progressive/neo-classical metal band. Stephan Forté, the band's guitarist, is the creative force behind Adagio. Despite many lineup changes during the band's short history, Forté has remained the musical heart of the progressive metal outfit. Adagio's music is characterized by technical precision, dark, dense orchestration, complex lead work, a driving rhythm section and clean, powerful vocals. However, on the group's latest effort, Dominate, they have added death metal inspired"cookie grunts" to their sound.
