Adamasta Rock

The Adamasta Rock (北長洲石) is an undersea rock in the centre of the busy Adamasta Channel between the Chi Ma Wan Peninsula of Lantau Island and Cheung Chau island, in Hong Kong. Before having a fixed light built on top it was awash at high water and presented a significant hazard to shipping, one of the few in Hong Kong waters. It is now well marked, with port- and starboard-hand buoys on either side, as well at the aforementioned fixed light.
