Ad (Adrian) Vandenberg (Born: January 31 1954 in the Netherlands) is a rock and roll guitarist, best known for his tenure as lead guitarist in Whitesnake during their successful late 80s period. Previously he was in a band called Teaser, which released a self-titled album in 1978, and then he had his own band, simply named Vandenberg, who released three albums in the 1980s. After Whitesnake, he played on the Manic Eden album which also featured Ron Young, previously of the band Little Caesar.
He has since turned to painting; further details are available on his website.
