Aerosur (Compania Boliviana de Transporte Aereo Privado) is an airline based in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. It is a private airline operating domestic scheduled services and some international flights. Its main base is Viru Viru International Airport, Santa Cruz.

History
The airline was established in April 1992 and started operations on 24 August 1992 as a regional air carrier. It was created after deregulation of domestic air transport in Bolivia by a merger of existing charter companies. It became the first Bolivian airline to introduce first and business class on domestic flights. Steadily growing, Aerosur has become the second largest airline in Bolivia after Lloyd Aereo Boliviano, operating a large national network as well as (since 1998) international routes to São Paulo, Brazil and Buenos Aires, Argentina. Since 2004 Aerosur also operates scheduled nostalgic flights on a Douglas Super DC-3 to the tourist destinations Salar De Uyuni and Rurrenabaque.

Aerosur operates the following services (at January 2005):
- Domestic scheduled destinations: Cobija, Cochabamba, La Paz, Puerto Suarez, Rurrenabaque, Santa Cruz (El Trompillo and Viru Viru), Sucre, Tarija and Trinidad.
- International scheduled destinations: Buenos Aires, Miami, and São Paulo.
