Aga Buryatia (Russian: ) is a federal subject of Russia (an autonomous okrug of Chita Oblast). The district has an area of 19,312.3 km² and a population of 72,213 as of the 2002 census. The administrative center is Aginskoye (pop. ~10,000).

Demographics
Population (2002): 72,213Ethnic groups: While residents of the district (as of the 2002 census) identified themselves as belonging to 54 different ethnic groups, most of them consider themselves either Buryats (45,149 or 62.5%) or ethnic Russians (25,366 or 35.1%), the Tatars at 390 (0.5%) ending up as a distant third most numerous group in the region.
