Air Djibouti (Red Sea Airlines) was an airline based in Djibouti and was the national carrier of the Republic of Djibouti. The airline was formed in July 1971 when Air Somalia (founded in 1962 by Air France and Les Messageries Maritimes) took over the previous Air Djibouti (formed in 1963). Shareholding was reorganised following independence in June 1973. The airline was reorganised in 1997 as Air Djibouti (Red Sea Airlines).

Air Djibouti operated international scheduled passenger and cargo services from Djibouti to Aden, Addis Ababa, Borama, Burao, Cairo, Hargeisa, Mogadishu, Paris, Sanaa and Sharjah.
Fleet
In the past the airline had at various times DHC Twin Otter, Antonov An-24RV, Antonov An-26B, Ilyushin IL-18, Boeing 727, Boeing 737-200 and McDonnell Douglas DC-9-32 (in the early 1990s) aircraft. In 1998 the airline acquired an Airbus A310 used on the Djibouti to Paris and other routes, which was their last known aircraft.
