Air Madrid Líneas Aéreas S.A. is an airline based in Madrid in Spain operating services to South and Central America
History
The airline was established in 2003 and in May 2004 started operations with the delivery of two Airbus A330-200 aircraft. Plans to add two Airbus A340-300s to the fleet have been reported. It is owned by Celuisma (20%), Hotusa (20%), Herpil (12.5%), Catalonia Hoteles (10%), Quo Viajes (10%), Viajes Eroski (10%) and others. As of 2005, Air Madrid plans to start a new short-haul scheduled arm to provide feeder traffic to its long-haul flights from Madrid. It is also in talks to lease five Airbus A320 aircraft for services to Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London, Milan and Paris (ref: Airliner World, September 2005).Code Data

Air Madrid operates services as follows (effective October 2006):
- Madrid to Bogotá, Bucharest, Buenos Aires, Cartagena, Fortaleza, Frankfurt, Guayaquil, Lima, Lisbon, Los Angeles Miami, Milan, Nice, Panama City, Paris, Rome, Quito, San José, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Santiago, Tel Aviv, and Toluca.
- Barcelona to Bogotá, Bucharest, Buenos Aires, Cartagena, Fortaleza, Guayaquil, Milan, Nice,Quito, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Santiago and Toluca.
- It has launched several new domestic routes by Airbus A319: Madrid-Ibiza / Palma de Mallorca-Ibiza: 5x weekly - Madrid-Menorca / Palma de Mallorca-Menorca: daily service
- Air Madrid will inaugurate nonstop service as follows :
- Madrid-Miami on October 30th,2006 : 4 flights a week, using an Airbus A330-300.
- Madrid-Nice /Madrid-Toulouse /Barcelona-Nice /Barcelona-Milan Malpensa on October 30th,2006 : daily flight using an Embraer 145.
- Madrid-Los Angeles on November 1st,2006 : 2 flights a week, using an Airbus A330-200.
- Air Madrid has recently announced a direct flight from Barcelona to Medellin via Madrid this flight will be 3 times a week starting November 25,2006. The flight will be served on an Airbus A330-200
- Furthermore, the airline plans to add flights linking Madrid and Cancun, Mexico, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, Managua, Nicaragua, Caracas, Venezuela, Santa Cruz, Bolivia, as well as Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo in Brazil.
