History
The airline was established and started operations in 1992. It is 100% owned by the Republic of Moldova. It took delivery of its second Airbus A320 in February 2004.

Air Moldova operates services to the following international scheduled destinations (at February 2006):Amsterdam, Athens, Bucharest, Frankfurt, Istanbul, Larnaca, Lisbon, Moscow, Prague and Rome. It offers code-share flights to Vienna on Austrian Airlines.
