The term air shower is used in physics to describe the shower of particles produced in Earth's atmosphere when a high energy cosmic ray collides with an atom high in the atmosphere.

The term air shower can also refer to the specialized antechamber which is passed through before entering a cleanroom in order to blow off excess dust particles from cleanroom personnel before they enter, to minimize contaminaion.
