Akari Ichijou is a character in the Last Blade fighting game series.
Background
When her older sister, Hikari, fell to a disease, Akari became very agitated. At that time, their father called for her. She restlessly sat before her grim-faced father, who was about to give her a lecture about Hell's Gate. Akari found out that Hell's Gate was causing trouble again, and flew out of the room, bent on finding the perfect cure for her sister's disease on her own: sealing Hell's Gate. Her father accused her of not listening to what he said, but she was not home.
Gameplay
Akari's style is characterised by a number of unique teleport moves. These allow her to appear from the left or right of the screen, and also from above the opponent. After the initial first hit, she is able to link into a variety of rolls and stomps, each of which hit in very different ways. She also possesses an infinite combo, one which many consider to be "cheap", because of how easy it is to do. Luckily, she must be able to corner her opponent before she's able to do this.
Trivia
- At 13 years of age, Akari is the youngest character in Last Blade series.
- Holding start after doing her falling sweep will allow her to sleep on the ground.
- For some reason, many characters are able to hit Akari with special moves even when she's on the ground.
