Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair & Majid Saif Al-Ghurair are a pioneer of the business society and a pillar in the community. The Group is family owned and managed. Al Ghurair Group has been in business for over 100 years with expertise in retail, industry and manufacturing. AL GHURAIR is one of three biggest exporting & importing company in UAE. Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair is cousin brother to Majid Saif Al-Ghurair, who owns various business and he is one among the world's richest person.Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair Group investment is fully diversified with major business interests in Bank (Mushreq bank), Insurance, shipping, Electro-Mechanical, Education, Power, Retail, Trading, Natural food services & Industries, Construction, Cement, Aluminum & Marble amongst others.
The Majid Saif Al-Ghurair Group operates eight or more strategic business units that are part of three main lines of businesses [LOB’s] — Real Estate and Shopping Malls. — Manufacturing (Packaging Solutions and Aluminum). — Investments.The Real Estate LOB's core function is leasing and trading with acknolwledged leadership in retail real estate in the Middle East. Al Ghurair Group proudly owns and manages Burjuman Mall, the state of the art fashion destination in the Middle East. In 2004, Al Reef Mall started operations and services targeting low to middle-income consumers. Al Ghurair Group vision and focus on industrial investments has positioned the Group at the helm of family owned and operated manufacturing industries in the Gulf. The Manufacturing LOB has two sectors: Aluminum and Packaging. All the manufacturing industries of the Group are B2B (Business to Business) operations.
Gulf Extrusionsis the largest aluminum extrusion facility in the region located right next to Dubal- the world’s largest single smelter site. The Packaging solutions provided by the Group cater for a large customers’ base in the local, regional and overseas markets.
Arabian Packaging Corrugated Board Division (CBD) is a B2B operation satisfying customers’ needs of cardboard products for storage and shipping purposes. The Flexible Manufacturing Division supplies flexible printed materials suitable for usages such as packages for potato chips, nuts, confectionary, etc. Dubai Poly Film is the market leader and the largest producer of Bi Axially Oriented Poly Propylene (BOPP) films in the Middle East and North Africa. Dubai Poly Film produces and markets thin plastic film and thin aluminized film. Dubai Poly Film is a supplier to the Arabian Packaging Flexible Division as well. Arabian Can Industry supplies 'Food Grade' tin cans, sheets and can ends. Al Ghurair Group is the local franchises for the most popular brands in the world.
