Al Hudud ash Shamaliyah /ælħuˈduːd æʃːæmæːˈliːjæ/ (Arabic: الحدود الشمالية ) (The Northern Border) is a province of Saudi Arabia. It is located in the north of the country, bordering Iraq. It has an area of 127,000 km² and a population of 237,100 (1999). Its capital is 'Ar'ar.
