Al Mahrah Governorate

Al Mahrah or Mahra (Arabic: ‎) is a governorate of Yemen in the southern Arabian Peninsula in the area of the former Mahra Sultanate. Its capital is Ghaydah.

In addition to Arabic, Mehri, a Modern South Arabian language is spoken in Mahra.
