Alain Vigneault

Alain Vigneault (b. May 14, 1961 in Quebec City, Quebec) was a head coach for the National Hockey League Montreal Canadiens. Alain also played for the St. Louis Blues. He has also coached junior hockey in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League for the Hull Olympiques, Beauport Harfangs, and, the Prince Edward Island Rocket. He coached the American Hockey League Manitoba Moose for the 2005-06 season. He led the Moose to a 102 point season and 3rd place finish in the North Division and reach the North Division Playoffs Semifinals.
On June 20th, 2006 Vigneault was hired to replace Marc Crawford as the National Hockey League Vancouver Canucks head coach.
