Alan Wearne

Alan Wearne (born 1948) is an Australian poet.
He was born in Melbourne, and attended Monash University where his friends included the poets Laurie Duggan and John A. Scott.
His verse novel The Nightmarkets was published in 1986 and won the Banjo Award.
He now lectures in creative writing at the University of Wollongong.
