History
Albacete were relegated from the Spanish top division in the 2004/05 season, despite avoiding that fate in the previous season. As a result, the club was always a likely one to go down, but finishing rock bottom of the league table with just six wins recorded all season meant that Albacete's 2004/05 season was a complete disaster. The club now hopes to bounce back from its disappointing season by gaining promotion back to the top flight at the first attempt for the 2005/06 season.Trophies
