Albert system
Encyclopedia : A : AL : ALB : Albert system
The Albert system refers to a system of clarinet fingering developed by Albert. The Albert system is still used by clarinetists who perform Albanian folk music, Klezmer, and Dixieland styles. These musicians prefer the Albert system due to the ease of slurring notes provided by unkeyed tone holes.
