Alberto Rodríguez Saá Páez Montero is an Argentine Peronist politician.
Rodríguez Saá was born to an important political family in San Luis Province. His grandfather Adolfo Rodríguez Saá and his great-uncle were both governors of the province and his father was chief of police. His brother, Adolfo Rodríguez Saá, was governor of San Luis from 1983 until 2001, when he became President of Argentina, resigning after a week.
Alberto Rodríguez Saá was a Justicialist Party senator for San Luis province. His brother had been succeeded as governor by his deputy Alicia Lemme, but Rodríguez Saá was chosen to stand in the 2003 elections for governor. He won the election with almost 90% of the vote, despite being a vocal atheist.
