Algonac State Park is a 1,450 acre (5.9 km²) state park in St. Clair County, Michigan. The park has approximately a half mile of St. Clair River frontage, making viewing of international freighters a major attraction.
Approximately 83% of the park's acreage is undeveloped. This undeveloped portion of the park encompasses the significant lakeplain prairie and lakeplain oak openings, which have been described as unique natural environments in Michigan. The park is home to at least 22 endangered, threatened, or special concern plant and animal species.
